Lee Broekman is a Lecturer in Communication in the Literature, Communication and Media Department at AJU, where she has taught in the undergraduate school for over a decade. Recently, she has also designed and led communication seminars for the university’s Masters in Education and MBA in Nonprofit Management programs. Additionally, Broekman conducts study skills and career development workshops for students throughout the university.
Broekman has taught several courses at USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Marshall School of Business. She is a coach and trainer with Organic Communication and regularly leads seminars for executives in aerospace, law, government and academia.
Prior to joining the AJU faculty, Broekman worked extensively in the fields of media and politics. She served as a Fellow with the prestigious Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs, as an Ambassadorial Scholar to the Netherlands with Rotary International, and studied European Communications at the University of Amsterdam. Broekman received a full-tuition fellowship to attend the executive doctoral program of the William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education at JTS. She will continue to teach at AJU while working on her doctorate.
